About This Competition
The Scottish Highland League is the fifth tier of professional football in Scotland but is made up from both professional and semi-professional players. There are 18 clubs in this league. Promotion from the Highland League feeds into the Scottish League Two. The top team in the Highland League plays the winner of the Lowland League for a place in League Two.
