About This Competition
The Scottish Lowland League is the fifth tier of professional football in Scotland but is made up from both professional and semi-professional players. There are 16 clubs in this league. Promotion from the Lowland League feeds into the Scottish League Two. The top team in the Lowland League plays the winner of the Highland League for a place in League Two.
